These are a series of drypoints all based around the theme of 'Home'. In groups we held an exhibition basing our work on the idea of the domestic my response was to create this series. Beginning with landscapes I started to look at how the landscape around me had changed, thinking of the new buildings and projects that have happened. I also took photos of places which hold strong memories.

 

The first window print I made gave a very personal feel to the piece as it was my bedroom window and is a view that I see every day when I’m at home. My next step was to continue working with views, but this time taking the picture through a window, revealing some of the interior but looking out, giving an insight to my home and surroundings.
