Flower studies produced between 2010 - 2012. I experimented with collograph prints, printing small bunches of fresh flowers which allowed their water to bleed into the print. The details in these prints allow us to see flowers in an interesting light, printed on to white paper with the contrast of black ink givinga contemporary finish. The drawings are quick studies looking at the form and shape of the flowers, gradually developing them into slightly more detailed drawings. The paint has been used to resemble the green of the stems and the colour of the pink/blue flowers petals.
